Dell to Host Former U.S. Senator Fred Thompson at Austin Manufacturing Facility

Former U.S. Sen. Fred Thompson Wednesday, Sept. 19, will become the first 2008 U.S. Presidential candidate to tour a Dell U.S. facility. Senator Thompson will visit the company's Topfer Manufacturing Facility, which manufactures commercial and consumer desktop computers.

The company plans to extend invitations to the major Presidential candidates to visit its U.S. operations in the coming months.
