Dell Download Store Adds Adobe to Portfolio of Mainstream Software Offerings

ROUND ROCK, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- The Dell Download Store today added another top-tier software publisher - Adobe Systems Incorporated - to its U.S. roster of convenient, competitively priced downloads. Dell's online software superstore, established in January, features downloads from a variety of publishers, including four of the largest software providers in the U.S. - Adobe, Microsoft, Intuit and Symantec.
The News
The Dell Download Store becomes the first non-Adobe site where people can go to download Adobe software such as Acrobat(R), Photoshop(R) Elements and Premiere(R) Elements. The agreement is similar to an arrangement announced with Microsoft on June 11.
