Ron Rose Named to Dell Executive Leadership Team
Former Priceline.com CIO Joins Dell as Senior Vice President of Dell.com
Rose To Oversee One of the World's Largest Online Businesses
ROUND ROCK, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Dell announced today that Ron Rose, former chief information officer of priceline.com, has joined the Dell executive management team as senior vice president of Dell.com, reporting to Michael Dell, chairman and CEO.

In the new role, Mr. Rose will oversee all of Dell's global online platforms, including Dell.com, its customer "Premier Pages" and online customer support. Mr. Rose's appointment reinforces Dell's commitment to enhance its industry-leading e-commerce engine, online capability and to improve overall customer experience.
With billions in revenue flowing through it annually, Dell.com is one of the leading e-commerce destinations in the world, serving people in 160 countries. Dell.com last year had 1.7 billion visits by about 500 million people.
Mr. Rose spent more than a decade at priceline.com. As priceline.com's CIO, he helped build the company's reputation for outstanding technology execution, and was instrumental in building and managing the IT infrastructure that provides travel services in 90 countries around the world. Prior to joining priceline.com in 1999, Mr. Rose was chief technology officer for Standard & Poor's Retail Markets.
