ROUND ROCK, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Today Dell KACE launched its latest systems management appliance, the Dell KACE K1000 Management Appliance, bringing innovative systems management to mid-sized businesses looking to proactively manage IT and help reduce power consumption to save time and money. Shipping now, it is the first product release since Dell acquired KACE this year.

Underscoring Dell's commitment to provide environmentally conscious and energy-efficient solutions, the most recent release of the K1000 Management Appliance introduces:

        configure and enforce power settings on Windows and Mac OS X systems;
