SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- At the fifth annual user forum, Dell KACE(TM) Konference 2010, Michael Dell this week announced unprecedented Dell KACE growth in 2010 and continued rapid ROI for its customers.
Acquired by Dell in February, Dell KACE has increased its global customer base by 300 percent, driven largely by the rapid return on investment customers experience once they deploy the Dell KACE(TM) Family of Systems Management Appliances. More than 60 percent of Dell KACE customers have reported their Dell KACE appliance paid for itself in three months or less.
"There is no longer any doubt that systems management is a huge key to unlocking the potential of IT," Michael Dell, chairman and CEO of Dell, said to a record crowd of Dell KACE customers at Hotel Nikko in San Francisco. "We are thrilled by the early success customers have had with Dell KACE's appliance-based solution. The appliances are easy to use, offer quick ROI and are affordable--a winning formula."
In addition to Mr. Dell's keynote, Konference 2010 focused on sharing the latest trends in systems management, discussing ways customers can get the most out of their Dell KACE appliance investments and customer awards. At a time when return on investment is more critical than ever, Dell KACE customers prove they are able to get the most out of their IT investment and see immediate value.
TechSoup Global, a nonprofit organization that provides technology assistance to other nonprofits worldwide, is one such customer who benefits from the Dell KACE appliance every day.
"As in past years, the 2010 conference offered me unique insight into the Dell KACE technology we at TechSoup rely on day in and day out for systems management," said Tim Suttle, director of IS Infrastructure at TechSoup Global. "The capabilities of the Dell KACE appliances are tailor-made for medium enterprise IT departments such as ours, and I know we can rely on the technology to ease our upcoming migration to Windows 7."
